Transition Year is a carefully designed programme that offers students a valuable bridge between Junior Cycle and Senior Cycle. It provides opportunities for personal, social and educational development through a broad and varied curriculum that encourages maturity, independence and responsibility. Transition Year places a strong emphasis on experiential learning, including work experience, community involvement, subject sampling and skills development. Through these experiences, students are supported in exploring their interests, building confidence and making informed choices about their future learning and career pathways.
