Secret Santa with our Second Years
On Friday 16th December, our second year students shared gifts with one another as part of Secret Santa.
Homework Club
Nenagh College will be providing a Homework Club from January 16th next. The club is available free to first years students only and will be from 4.00 p.m. To 5.30 p.m Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Places are limited to 20 pupils. Application forms are available from Ms. Harty on week beginning 9th January 2017.
St Vincent De Paul
Nenagh College was pleased to welcome representatives from St Vincent De Paul who spoke to 6LCA on social justice and equality. Tim Maher, a volunteer for over 50 years was present.
Anti Bullying 1st Year SPHE Poster Competition
Mr Cox and Ms Maharaj’s SPHE classes aimed to raise awareness on the issue of bullying by making posters with their own slogans. 6th Year Leaving Certificate Applied students visited Dunnes Sawmills, Thurles on 8th December, where they gained an insight into the harvesting, selection and preparation of Ash for the art of Hurley making.
