Tipperary Mental Health Week
As part of Tipperary Mental Health Week, Shane Martin, a Psychologist spoke at the Lyons Club, Roscrea about resilience and how to develop the skills to bounce back in the midst of setbacks. As a former teacher he promotes realistic evidence-based interventions that can foster better mental health. Nenagh College was represented by Catherine O Keeffe
Nenagh College STEM day visits
5th and 6th students from the Nenagh area joined us today for a STEM Day. They experienced woodwork, Home Economics, Coding, Science and PE. A great day was had by all.

5th year Ag Science class enjoying some beautiful Autumn sunshine as they study the botanical composition of our Biodiversity garden.
Under 17 Hurling
The boys played in a very competitive and hard fought game yesterday against Gaelchoáíste Luimnigh. They were unlucky to come out on the losing side on a scoreline of 4-11 to 3-17. Standout performances from Brian Toohey, Brian Rohan, Oisin Ryan, Cian Kinsella and Jake Houlihan.
1st Years Design Logos
1st Year Graphics class utilised digital technologies to design logos for the school canteen. They developed their creativity and unique ideas while exploring shapes and colour on their devices.
Visit to Nenagh Heritage Centre
Third year CSPE students enjoyed a visit and tour of Nenagh Heritage Centre including the museum and old gaol. Many Thanks to Ger Maher for providing a fun and interesting tour for the students.
Education and Careers Exhibition
The University of Limerick in association with the Irish Guidance Counsellors hosted an education and careers exhibition at the UL Sports Arena. Nenagh College’s 6th years attended the session which boasted representatives from Higher Education Institutions, UCAS, and voluntary organisations, other statutory bodies such as the Gardai and the Military, as well as local industry.
