3rd year students were given a mystery box challenge with expected leftovers from the fridge. They were very creative and made alot of tasty treats.

Well done to our LCA5 students who made a Christmas Lunch for LCA6 and some of their teachers.

5th and 6th year Home Economics students visited the Butlers Chocolate factory. This trip gave students an insight into the Irish food Industry.

 

Our first year students engaging with each other to develop their product for their mini company.

Thank you to Siobhan Leonard our Student Art PME from LSAD who worked with our second years on a biodiversity paintings and sculpture project. We have really enjoyed creating these pieces. A big thank you to our woodwork dept and our caretaker for their support in presenting this work.

On Wednesday 18^th December, Nenagh College 5^th and 6^th year students travelled to Dublin as part of their History/ Politics field trip. While in Dublin, they visited Dail Eireann, National Museum of Ireland and Croke Park. They were accompanied by Ms. Murphy and Mr. Cox.

Well done to 1B student Philip Kennedy who created detailed model of the Earth’s Crust for geography class.

On Thursday 12th December, Nenagh College hosted its annual Christmas Talent Show. Students from all year groups took part in the event to showcase their talents to friends and family. A special thank to all who took part and to our co-ordinating teachers Ms. Tierney, Ms. Purcell and Spain Audio Visual.

Well done to the Amber Flag Committee and Ms. O’Keeffe who organised the Christmas Jumper Day in Nenagh College to raise awareness and funds to help provide support and services for people with cystic fibrosis.
