North Tipperary Hospice

Well done to everyone at Nenagh College who together raised €800 by combining the School Cup Jersey Day and a staff coffee morning. This money was donated to the wonderful work of the North Tipperary Hospice movement and the cheque was collected by Paddy Heffernan. A huge thanks to the staff, catering and students of Nenagh College for your generous financial contributions and delicious cakes and buns!

Cloncannon Farm – Ecology Trip

Our senior biology students took their study of ecology outdoors this week with a visit to Cloncannon Biofarm in Moneygall. Organic farmer Sean O’Farrell has opened the gates of his farm to allow student the opportunity to cover all aspects of their leaving certificate ecology portfolio. We experienced first-hand the fantastic biodiversity on Sean’s farm. Sean was joined by local botanist Phoebe, creating an active and competitive learning environment for our students.
