Siobhan O’ Donoghue, 5th Year, represented Nenagh College at a ‘Pathology Laboratories Information Day’ at UHL, on Saturday 12th November. She had a jammed packed agenda that included visits to the following labs: Serology, Microbiology, Pathology, Urology, Haematology, Immunology, Cytology and Transfusion Services.
She attended a presentation on the areas of study in UHL labs and met with some new interns.
Her favourite part of the day was time spent in the Blood Bank and encountering an array of internal organs for transplant.
She gave feedback on the visit to UHL and had a tremendous day. She was awarded a certificate for her attendance and contribution.
