Georgia Gudgeon won the Tipperary ETB Scholarship 2019. She went to ‘Coláiste na n-Oileán’ in Galway. She thoroughly enjoyed it. Huge congratulations Georgia.

1st Year 6 Word Story Winners

Nenagh College 1st Years took part in a 6 word memoir competition as part of their study of autobiographical writing. Congratulations to David Gleeson who was the overall winner. Lauris Bagdons, Ryan Gratton and Troy Donnellan were runners-up.

Lahinch Field Trip

On Weds 16th Ms.Harty and Ms.Hanlon escorted their 6th year geography students to Lahinch to conduct their field study on deposition and transportation on the beach. This field work is worth 20% of their overall leaving cert result. A great day was had and some Portuguese Men of War jellyfish were spotted after being washed up by storm Lorenzo two weeks before.

Fun Day 2019

Coffee Morning

Dear Parent(s), We would like to invite you our annual 1st year parent coffee morning in Abbey Court Hotel from 11.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on Wednesday next 16th October. This is an opportunity for you to meet your son / daughters class director and year head and get an update on their progress and on how they are settling in. First Year Boys Basketball

Nenagh College First Year Boys should great promise at the ETB Blitz in St. Ailbe’s on Tuesday 8th of October. In their first match, against Comeragh College, Dawid Purowski and Kian McDonald controlled the game well pushing the ball up the floor quickly in early offense. Nenagh then played the home side; Mark Griffin and Cian O’Sullivan performed well end-to end. Against, Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré B, Cian Carmody was the teams’s top scorer with Lauris Bagdon and Cullin O’Brien also contributing to the team’s points tally. Seamus Connolly, Jake Donelan Houlihan and Ryan Gratton rebounded strongly throughout. Jamie Ryan, Lewis Morrison and Lukasz Kudrewski worked hard defensively to contribute to the team’s win against Roscrea. The team is continuing their preparations for the 1st Year League which starts in the New Year.
