World Mental Health Day

Thank you to all the teachers who actively participated in World Mental Health Day.

Students had a lovely day discussing issues, singing, dancing, watching relevant you tube clips, enjoying learning, being active, engaging with the Connect Cafe etc. Well done to all.

 

 

 

 

An Triail

D’fhreastal na daltaí ag déanamh Gaeilge ardleibhéal ón 5ú agus 6ú bliain ar dráma ‘An Triail’ i gCorcaigh inniú.
Déanann na daltaí staidéar ar ‘An Triail’ le linn an chúrsa Ardteistméireachta agus inniú chonaic siad an dráma beo ar an stáitse. Bhí lá iontach againn.

Our higher level 5th and 6th year Irish students attended the drama production of An Triail today in Cork. Students study the drama as part of their Leaving Certificate course and today they saw it live on stage . A great day was had by all.

Guest Speaker Maksims Baranovskis

Maksims Baranovskis came into school on Friday and spoke to our current sixth years about his path from Nenagh College to Further Education and College. He recently graduated from GMIT with a degree in Film and Documentary. He has worked on the set of the Young Offenders and most recently helped to film and produce Chris Haze’s music video Chasing Rivers. He is pictured speaking to our 6th years about film/ documentary production and with his sister Sophia Sture who is in third year.

Junior Cert Results

Nenagh College teachers and staff would like to congratulate all of our students who received their Junior Certificate examination results today. Well done all.

Intermediate Camogie Win

Congratulations to the Intermediate Camogie team who had a great win over Colaiste Phobail Ennis today, scoring 7-9 to 3-7. The girls will now play Salesian Secondary College Pallaskenry in two weeks time. Well done girls. Accompanied by Ms. Hannigan & Ms. Harty.

Junior Cert Results

Junior Cert results will be available at 1.45 p.m. on Friday in front lobby of school.

Classes as normal for 5th years and TY students up to 1.20 p.m. on Friday.

North Tipperary Hospice

Well done to everyone at Nenagh College who together raised €800 by combining the School Cup Jersey Day and a staff coffee morning. This money was donated to the wonderful work of the North Tipperary Hospice movement and the cheque was collected by Paddy Heffernan. A huge thanks to the staff, catering and students of Nenagh College for your generous financial contributions and delicious cakes and buns!
