PLC Induction will take place on Monday 9th of September at 10.00am.

Registration fees are as follows

• €120 for Sports Recreation and Exercise
• €120 for Information/Data Processing with Office Administration
• €180 for Applied Social Studies with Healthcare
• €180 for Early Childhood Care and Education

Well done to our 1st year students who completed their walk to Millennium Cross. They were accompanied by their Class Directors and Year Head.

In publishing the 2019 examination timetables, the State Examinations Commission (SEC) indicated that as a result of the need to prioritise activities associated with the Leaving Certificate appeals, the results of the 2019 Junior Cycle examinations would issue to schools in late September.  Meeting the earlier Leaving Certificate appeal results issue date remains the focus of our efforts and we have not as yet published a definitive date for the Junior Cycle results. We recognise that schools increasingly need to have the date confirmed for planning purposes.

At this time I can advise that the results of the 2019 Junior Cycle examinations will be in schools and published online on Friday 4^th October 2019.  The change to the issue date for the results this year has presented the SEC with the opportunity to respond to requests from stakeholders to release the Junior Cycle results on a Friday instead of the traditional Wednesday issue day.
