Monday 27th / Tuesday 28th August – Staff Days

Wednesday 29th / Thursday 30th August – 1st Years only

Friday 31st August – 6th / 3rd years (1st years present)

Monday 3rd September – 5th / 2nd (1st / 3rd and 6th years present)

Tuesday 4th September – Transition Years (all classes present)

Students took a sample of memories from all students in the school and created an notice board

Interesting quotes were created, printed and laminated and put on all the doors of the school

Well done to our young St. Vincent De Paul members who

• Gave a lesson to third class in St Mary’s Primary School on equality and the third world.
• Received training from Ivan Kolic at their lunch time club
• Made a clothes display which was showcased in Nenagh College canteen
• Assisted in reading projects in St Mary’s Primary School

Hotel, Catering and Tourism offers LCA students many opportunities to cook and serve meals to teachers and other members of the community. Here they have cooked a vegetarian option for staff.

5LCA went on a walk to Nenagh Community Garden as part of Leisure and Recreation.

First years created mini companies based around enjoyable food as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, they produced crepes, cookies, smoothies, buns etc each day during break and lunch time. They contributed 10% of their profit to Pieta House.  Well done to all of them.

Our 6LCA with Ms Knight, Ms O Keeffe and Nuala Kennedy completing the mural for Nenagh Tidy Towns, celebrating 60 years in Nenagh. Many thanks to the ETB for providing funding for the garden project in Teach an Leinn.
