Easter Cake Competition

1st year Home Economics students took part in an Easter Cake decorating competition. They all put in great work and both Home Economics teachers were impressed with their decorating skills and creativity. The winners of the cake decorating were Molly Ryan and Kara Moroney Mitchell. Well done girls.

Futurewize

Nenagh College first year science students are taking part in a five-week science programme called ‘FUTUREWIZE’. The Futurewize programme aims to inspire students to discover rewarding career possibilities through STEM subjects like science, technology, engineering and maths. Well done to all our scientists who have been participating in this programme so far!!! This event was organised by Ms Kearney & Ms. Hannigan.

Hazel Cawley U16 Irish Girls Soccer Belgium

Congratulations to Hazel Cawley who has just returned from Belgium where she represented Ireland in the U16 Irish Girls Soccer team. They played 2 games against the Belgium side and drew both. Hazel played exceptionally well and greatly enjoyed her experience. With all of the hard work and hours of training, hopefully there will be many more opportunities for Hazel to play at this level and continue to proudly represent her country again.

1st and 2nd year Camogie Blitz

Well done to the 1st and 2nd Year Camogie team who narrowly lost to Borrisokane in the Semi Final at a recent Blitz in Roscrea. The girls worked brilliantly and are a credit to the school. Well done to all involved. They were accompanied by their teachers Ms. Hannigan & Mr. Forde
