Parents of Nenagh College first year students will have the opportunity to meet their son / daughter’s Year Head and Class Directors in a unique setting on Wednesday 17th October in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh from 11.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

This will be an ideal opportunity to chat with the teachers who have taken on the task of ensuring the welfare of the students.

As the first half term draws to a close, it is time for the pastoral support team to meet with the parents to hear how the first term has been for the students and the parents!!!

We hope that the informal setting will allow parents to meet and chat with others in a similar situation to themselves, over a coffee, and maybe share some issues they have encountered along with the positive experiences the students have been having in school.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Well done to our Under 15 girls team who were runners up in the Munster 7s B Plate in Borrisoleigh

Nenagh College under 16 hurling team beat Comeragh College on a score line of 8-12 to 1-8 to advance to the quarter final of the competition.

Ms Knight will be exhibiting her artworks in Nenagh library for the month of October along with her mum Pauline Knight and her daughter Klara Moylan. All are welcome.

Best of luck to Mr. Heffernan and Mr. Gratton in next Sunday’s County Senior Hurling Semi – Final.

Well done to three Nenagh College students who played in the 60×30 College County Finals held in Lahorna.

Nenagh College was represented in three categories:

First Year Boys Singles

Ryan Gillick defeated by Jack Mulcahy, St. Josephs CBS Nenagh 07-31.

Boys Intermediate (U17) Singles

Rory Grace defeated Cormac Doheny, Borrisokane Community College 23-11.

First Year Girls Singles

Hannah Grace defeated by Leanne Gould, Borrisokane Community College 25-30.

1st cookery class with first years. Excellent work by all students.

Congratulations to Mr. Forde who was nominated for a Hurling All Star Award.

Mr. Forde is the only Tipperary player nominated for a Hurling All Star Award.

Well done to Chelsea White who trialed for the Munster Schools Girls Soccer. She competed today in trials as the numbers were cut down from 87 to 44 girls
