Mint-Tek Visit
Míle buíochas to Siobhán Ní Chofaigh from Mint-Tek who visited the VexRobotics group. She enjoyed their presentation and gave a generous donation. Go raibh maith agat!
First Aid Training
Well Done to our TY Group who recently completed their First Aid Training Workshop covering areas such as CPR, use of AED, Choking, Slings & Bandages.
U15 Hurlers Medal Presentation
Well done to our U15 Hurlers who were finalists in a recent ETB run County competition. They were presented with their medals by Jason Forde, Tipperary Hurler and teacher at Nenagh College.
North Munster Cup
Congratulations to Ryan Gratton and Conor Ryan who were part of Nenagh Ormonds u16 rugby team who won the North Munster Cup at the weekend.
Camogie U16 County Semi-final
Charlotte Ryan & Grace Quinn, 2nd year who play for Silvermines won a camogie U16 County Semi-final A League against Moycarky last Friday and went on to play Boherlahan in the County Final on Thursday evening and won, with a score of 2 : 6 to 7 points, well done girls.
Transitions Year Trip to Emerald Park
Transitions Years had a great tour to Emerald Park on Wednesday, many braved the big rides (often over and over again). A great day was had by all!
Coding Workshop
On Wednesday 26th April, Brian Fogarty and Conor Bowe from Fiserv, Nenagh, delivered a coding workshop to our TY class, using Javascript and HTML. It was a great to see links between a local technology company and our school. Thanks to all involved
5th Year LCVP
As part of their Summary Report Item for the LCVP Portfolio, our 5th Year LCVP Students made the trip to Blackcastle Farm this week. Students were given a fantastic tour of the farm and insightful presentation on the background, growth and development of the business. Thanks to all the staff at Blackcastle Farm.
