Religion teacher Ms. Dillon very kindly visited French classes to tell students about the celebration of the feast of the Epiphany in France. The 6th January is the twelfth day of Christmas when the three wise men arrived with gifts for Jesus. It is a holiday in France and is celebrated with a ‘Galette des Rois’ , a French cake made with puff pastry. This cake usually contains a French figurine of a king and the person who finds it in their slice of cake is given a crown and will have good luck that year. Merci beaucoup to Ms. Dillon for sharing her knowledge and for bringing in a Galette des Rois for the students to sample. It was delicious!

She and her family will distribute them to the homeless in Limerick. Well done to Molly and her family for driving this Initiative and thanks for your generous support of this worthy cause.
