David Coleman Talk
The three secondary schools in Nenagh warmly invite parents to an insightful talk by renowned clinical psychologist and broadcaster, David Coleman. This special event will take place on Thursday, 27 February, at 8:00 PM, at St. Mary’s Secondary School.
David Coleman, widely recognised for his expertise in child and adolescent psychology, will be addressing the topic: “Effective Communication with Teenagers to Build Positive Relationships.” His talk will focus on practical strategies for fostering open, respectful, and constructive dialogue between parents and their teenage children.
This event is proudly brought to you by the Parents’ Associations and Council of the three secondary schools, with additional financial support from the Nenagh Lions Club.
Parents from all secondary schools in the area are encouraged to attend this free event and benefit from David Coleman’s insights, based on his extensive experience working with young people and families.

Recruitment Project Officer Visit

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance
Grainne Frawley Performance and Development Officer at Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ireland based in Shannon, accompanied by current apprentice, David Condon, came into talk to 5th & 6th Year student a about the career opportunities available for school leavers. Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance (PAM) Ireland Ltd is Ryanair’s first heavy maintenance facility in Ireland. Established in May 2022 the company supports the maintenance of Ryanair’s growing Boeing 737 NG and MAX fleet and is located in a 3-bay hangar in Shannon, Co. Clare. The facility employs highly skilled aircraft engineers, mechanics, and support staff. David shared his experiences of the Aircraft Engineering apprenticeship. An Aircraft Mechanics Apprenticeship is also an option- where students will join a team of highly skilled staff, playing an essential part in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines. Both Grainne and David gave insightful answers to student’s questions about the roles on offer and how to apply.
