Art Tour
🎨✨ 5th year and 5LCA Art students embarked on an inspiring artistic journey to Limerick, with Ms. Slattery and Ms. Knight. 🚌🖌️ They immersed themselves in the vibrant art scene of the city, exploring contemporary art exhibitions at Ormston House, Limerick City Gallery of Art, and The People’s Museum.
The trip was an incredible opportunity for our students to engage with diverse art forms, gain new perspectives, and unleash their creativity. 🌟 #Creativity #art #experience

Different pathways available to students
As students in Transition Year and 3rd year start the process of choosing their senior cycle programmes and subjects, we at Nenagh College would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the many different pathways available to students post the Leaving Certificate. From CAO routes: University and Technological Universities. Non-CAO options: Colleges of Further Education and Training (QQI/PLC Courses), Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Tertiary Degrees. Alternative options: Private college courses, direct entry routes, the gap year, study abroad and (dare we mention…) those students who chose the wrong course… and will drop out or repeat a year, the options are vast. There are also access routes into higher education such as the HEAR & DARE schemes. We would like to feature the options that were undertaken by some of the class of 2023.
Congratulations Jake Donelan Houlihan

Nenagh Classic Car Club
Ten members and their cars from Nenagh Classic Car Club visited on Tuesday. They spoke with the 5LCA and TY students about the histories of their cars, the maintenance involved in owning a classic car, the importance of car and road safety, and the importance of community. The students were even able to sit in to some of the cars! What a great opportunity to connect students with their community, and engage with members of the public! They spoke to the students about the club and the positive impact it has on our community. Thank you to Ms. Slattery and Brendan Murphy for organising this connection between Nenagh College and Nenagh Classic Car Club. The students each created a lino design inspired by various car parts, and then used these to create a digital poster, advertising an upcoming event for Nenagh Classic Car Club.
