Home Economics Pancake Competition
Home Economics students had a blast cooking pancakes, engaging in various competitions to determine the ultimate champion. The contests were intense, with first-year students Bella and Saoirse excelling in pancake shapes, Rayassa in TY showcasing the best decorations, and Liadh in 2nd year standing out as the most enthusiastic flipper.
Jigsaw Fundraising
Well done to the Student Council who organised a fundraiser for Jigsaw recently. Denis Ryan from Jigsaw kindly visited the school to accept the donation of ā¬280 from Killian, Student Council Chairperson, and Treasurer, Annabel. A big thank you to all who supported this organisation, which provides mental health information, guidance and support to 12-25 year olds.Ā
County Enterprise Competition
Congratulations to Boris Vitar on his fantastic achievement winning the “One to Watch” award and coming 2ndĀ overall in the LEO County Enterprise Competition in TUS Thurles. His innovative computer application was highly commended andĀ his entrepreneurial spirit noted.Ā A well done also goes to Blanca, Amy, Grace & Kyla for representing the school so well with their fantastic entries.
Gurteen Agricultural College
Nenagh College Transition Year students visited Gurteen Agricultural College on the 26th of February where they participated in the Agri Awareness farm walk and talk. The event aims to highlight and promote all elements of the Leaving Certificate agricultural science curriculum. A great day was had by all.
Kira Lialchenko Wins Again!
