This week, Nenagh College celebrated âWorld Book Dayâ.
Throughout the week, our first year students visited Nenagh Library to learn about the wonderful services they provide.
On Thursday, staff and students participated in a âDrop Everything and Readâ event. Ms Kinsella and her English class, 1E, also hosted a lunchtime quiz to test studentsâ literary knowledge.
Finally, a special thank you to Ms Powell and her Woodwork class, 1D, for making a âBook Swapâ box for the staff room.

To celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 5th March and promote widespread reading, the English Department at Nenagh College are holding a Facebook competition to encourage the wider community to share their own book recommendations.
To be in for a chance of winning a book voucher, simply comment the Facebook post with the name of your favourite book. The winner will be announced on Friday.
