Limerick College of Further Education and Central College Limerick

5LCA, 6LCA and some traditional 6th year students visited open days in Limerick College of Further Education and Central College Limerick.

These visits was followed by buffet lunch in the Jasmine Palace Restaurant where a key assignment was completed as part of Hotel, Catering and Tourism.

A wonderful day was had by all – well done to all from your LCA co-ordinators Ms Maharaj and Ms O Keeffe

 

5LCA Work Experience

5LCA and 6LCA students attend work experience every Friday where they learn communication, team working and time management skills.

6LCA Art Exhibition

As part of a recent task 6LCA students had an exhibition of their artwork in room 39. Their paintings are inspired by the style of these famous artists . . . Van Gogh, Monet, Kandinsky, Picasso , Munch, Lichtenstein and Klimt.

Lions Club

Well done to 5th Year students Joe Kitson and Georgia Gudgeon for taking time out from their Christmas holiday to do something good for the community. Bag packing in Dunne’s store Nenagh for the Lions Club. Thank you. You are inspirational.

5LCA Business Management

Nenagh College 5LCA Customer Care and Retail class who visited Tesco to gather information on how a successful business is managed. Students gained very valuable information thanks to Tesco.

 

1st Year Open Night Wednesday 23rd January

Nenagh College is pleased to announce our Open Night on Wednesday 23rd January for all prospective 1st students and their families. Beginning with our Principal, Mr. Kennedy’s Address at 7.30pm, the school will be showcasing our subject options and what we offer to new students in 2019.

1st Year Enrollment will take place on Friday 25th January from 4.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. and Saturday 26th January from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
