Congratulations to Nenagh College TY Student Noel Slattery on the victory of Burgess U16 North Tipperary B final.

 

 

Nenagh College is pleased to announce the ‘Lets Learn about Drugs & Alcohol Together’ Programme taking place at Nenagh College on Thursday 13th and 20th October 2016.

The programme consists of two sessions delivered after school by MWRDAF and HSE staff. Sessions are interactive in design and engage parents and pupils in a shared learning environment. The sessions are specifically developed for pupils and parents of 2nd year only.

First Year students from Nenagh College joined their counterparts in St. Marys Secondary School to watch a performance on Bullying. It was sponsored by the Lions Club Nenagh.

Nenagh College was proud to welcome All-Ireland Tipperary Minor and Senior Champions to our school. The Irish Press Cup and Liam McCarthy Cup were proudly on display.

On Tuesday 27th September, 5th and 6th Year Leaving Cert Applied students travelled to the Mid Western Careers Exhibition which was held at the University of Limerick. It was a great insight into possible future careers for our students.

Nenagh College will be hosting a Fun Day on Friday 7th October.

Sponsorship cards will be given to each student and all proceeds will go to extra curricular activities

Adventure World Ltd. will be sponsoring the Nenagh College Fun Day and provide numerous bouncing castles and inflatable amenities including the Rodeo Bull, Wipeout, Wrecking Ball and Collision Course.

 

On Tuesday 27th September, Mr. Cox and Ms. Murphy travelled with 5th and 6th Year history students to Dublin to visit the General Post Office and Glasnevin Cemetery. It was a great educational experience and a very enjoyable trip.

      

On Tuesday 27th September, Ms. Beirne and the 5th year Art class travelled to Dublin to visit the National Gallery and National Museum. It was a great day had by all.
