Tipp Stars Shine at Nenagh College

Fresh from their convincing win over Waterford in last Sunday’s Munster Final Tipp stars Niall O Meara, Jason Forde and Darren Gleeson along with former All Ireland medalist Daragh Egan were busy at Nenagh College providing the “Total Hurling Workshop” for aspiring young hurlers from clubs from throughout North Tipp.

School Principal Damien Kennedy was delighted that the three stars had chosen the College as the venue for this unique event. Workshop coach, Niall O Meara, outlined that Nenagh College was the number one choice for hosting the event with the exceptional facilities including hurling wall, fitness suite, gym and newly landscaped playing pitch complete with sports nets which are a recent addition to the school’s facilities.

All of the workshop participants found working with the Tipp players a hugely enjoyable experience which will be of enormous benefit to them and their clubs.
