5^th Year Childcare students took part in a 24 hour activity where they were asked to care for “Flour Babies” during school and at home. During this time students were prompted throughout the school day to care for their baby’s needs, which included feeding, changing nappies and settling a fussy baby. At home student had a prescribed list of tasks to care for the babies. Well done to all students and staff involved, it was a very enjoyable activity for all.

Our TY group enjoyed a festive trip to Dundrum earlier this week. The TY students put on an Olympic standard display at the Ice Skating rink! Followed by Christmas Shopping in Dundrum Town Centre.

Second year Graphics students had a small introduction to Solidworks. Students got into the festive spirit and designed a personalized snowman.

This week we say “adios” to our TY Spanish Students: Maria, Lucia, Lola, Carmen, Paula, Pedro & Ruben. The TY group will greatly miss their Spanish class mates and wish them well in their studies back home.

Second years visited our local Artist Margaret O’Brien’s Exhibition in Nenagh Arts Centre. Students designed Observational studies engaging with the Ethereal work and enjoyed working in colour.
