Rory Grace All Ireland Handball Champion 2018

Congratulations to Nenagh College student Rory Grace, pictured below receiving his All – Ireland medal from Joe Masterson, President of GAA Handball Ireland:

Rory Grace has been crowned, Boys Under 15 Singles 40 x 20 All Ireland champion 2018

Rory, the Munster champion, defeated Kilkenny & Leinster Champion, John Doheny, 15-9, 10-15, 15-0.

School Closed Friday 23rd March

In order to facilitate training on Child Safeguarding, which is a requirement of both TUSLA and the Department of Education and Skills. Nenagh College will be closed on Friday 23rd March. Classes will resume on Monday 9th April.

Young Saint Vincent De Paul

Young Saint Vincent De Paul in Thomond Park yesterday at the Mid West YSP.

Students presented their activities and took part in an engaging day with schools from all around the region.

1st Year Art Workshop

On Thursday the Eighth of March, accompanied by their Art Teachers L Beirne and E Knight, Nenagh College First Year Students travelled to Limerick Hunt Museum. Students participated in a First Year Art Workshop. While visiting the Temporary Art Exhibition by Samuel Walsh observational drawings were completed as well as learning how to curate an exhibition. Upon completion students visited the Permanent Exhibition using the opportunity to study primary sources. A very big thank you to our Guides on the day who made it a very educational and enjoyable visit.
