Our 1st year art students enjoyed a visit to the Hunt Museum to view Ms Knights exhibition as part of their recent Art tour to Limerick.

Nenagh College students continue to be involved in the Choose Respect Campaign, which began over a year ago by Mr Marney O Reilly and Mr Denis Finnerty.

This is a community project involving all 3 secondary schools in Nenagh, together with the sports clubs, the businesses etc in Nenagh – it is a community project aimed at increasing awareness around how we show respect towards ourselves and others in our society.

The following students attended a meeting which was held on Friday, 31^st March in the Pastoral Centre. Ms O Keeffe is pictured with members of the Student Council as follows:

Such meetings involving all 3 schools, allows students to gain a greater understanding of the needs of young people in our society and allows for fruitful discussions.

Congratulations to  Hannah Grace, who won the 2023 Girls Munster 40×20 Senior Singles Colleges Handball Championship which was held in Ballydesmond, Co. Cork on Friday night. Pictured below is Hannah (on the left) with Áine Lenihan, her opponent from St. Joseph’s Secondary School, Tulla.

Wishing our junior certs students the very best of luck today with their music practical exam.

Great fun was had  in raising €439 for World Autism Awareness Day. The students participated in a Colour Run…with the teachers throwing powder paint as the students darted past!!!

Ms O Keeffe’s first years embraced enterprise, by setting up their own mini companies, making their products and selling them as part of their Business Studies subject.

Nenagh College is hosting a Colour Run to raise funds for the ASD Class in conjunction with World Autism Awareness Day.
