Annie Gleeson, 2nd year art student, pictured here with her art teacher Ms Knight, was awarded highly commended for her photo of her great granddad at the Mental Health Ireland photography competition in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin. Annie’s photograph was also the judges choice to appear in the 2020 calendar for Mental health Ireland. Well done Annie ?

On Sunday 28th April, Cycle Against Suicide will be arriving in Nenagh as part of their annual main cycle. They will be staying over night in Nenagh before they set off on the next leg of the cycle from Nenagh College on the morning of Monday 29th April.

The C.A.S. Homestay Team are looking for families who would be interested in hosting cyclists overnight. Further details available by contacting the Homestay Team at homestays@cycleagainstsuicide.com , or see below for the Homestay application flyer which can be returned to the school.

Well done to Nenagh College students who competed in the “Munster VEX Robotics” competition, which was sponsored by Dell. The competition was held in the Dell premises in Limerick. Our students battled hard all day and came in 5th place out of the whole of Munster, which was a remarkable achievement. They now have qualified for the National finals, which take place in Cork at the end of April.

On Wednesday 13th March, there was a Traditional Irish Music session to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge. Both teachers and students participated in the event. A great afternoon enjoyed by all.
