Our Juniors Girls Volleyball team played a friendly match against St Leo’s in Carlow! The experience has been very rewarding for them and they have learned a lot. Many thanks to St Leo’s for hosting us and for treating us so well.

All 5th years visit TUS Limerick and The University of Limerick. Students were introduced to the the college campuses of TUS & UL. Experiencing the busy open days, talking to staff and students and visiting course information talks! A busy but informative and educational day. We met past students and family and friends along the way!

World Mental Health
Celebrating Wellbeing in Nenagh College on World Mental Health Day, 10th October. The Student Council distributed Positive Mental Health stickers to everyone in their class groups – all staff, students, PLC students got one. Students were asked to put the sticker on their laptop or school journal as a gentle reminder throughout the year.
The staff enjoyed a healthy breakfast of yoghurts, a variety of fruit, etc. in the staff room during break-time.
The day was organised by Ms. Lucinda Dillon, Wellbeing Co-Ordinator.
World Mental Health
What better way to spend World Mental Health day other than a French film at Birr Theatre, followed by lunch and a visit to the beautiful Birr Castle.
Our French students thoroughly enjoyed their morning at the Offline Film Festival watching the film “Un Vrai Bonhomme” and then toured the beautiful grounds of Birr Castle where they had the opportunity to see The Great Telescope which at one point was the largest in the world for over 70 years, visit The Historic Science Centre and find out about The I – LOFAR project.
Open Night at Nenagh College
Nenagh College would like to invite all parents and students to our Open Night on Wednesday 23rd October at 7.00 p.m. Principal’s address at 7.30 p.m.. Come and view the schools’ state of the art facilities in our progressive and innovative school. Meet your future teachers and sample the many exciting opportunities which will be available to you. Enrolments for 1st year 2025 / 2026 will be taken on the night and up to 13th of November only.
Volleyball Blitz
Nenagh College Senior Volleyball Team participated in the division c blitz with schools from Portlaoise and Kilkenny. Well done to the students and all involved. Senior boys won one and lost one and the Senior girls team put in a great effort but marginally lost their matches . Thanks to Scoil Chriost Ri and Portlaoise CBS, who hosted the school’s competition .
