Our 2nd Year students were treated to a pizza party today at Nenagh College.
This was to acknowledge them in their excellent attendance to date.
Well done all, keep this up for more rewards!
Over the last 5 weeks teacher and Positive Psychologist Siobhan Connolly Hogan, delivered “An Introduction to positive psychology & Sona Strengths course” to our Transition year Students. Her course enlightened our students to tap into their inner character strengths, focused on the concepts of grit, growth mindset, negativity bias and the happiness pie and flow-all of which supports good mental health but also cultivates positive wellbeing that support students in and outside of the classroom. Thank you to Siobhan for introducing students to Positive psychology which is the “scientific study of human strengths and virtues.”
Students from Nenagh College are on the train on their way to the I Wish Convention at the RDS. I WISH is a community committed to showcasing the power of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths to teenage girls.
