Earlier this week our TY group kicked off their Transition Year experience with a splash! TY Students travelled to Bay Sports, Athlone for a day of Kayaking, Paddle Board racing and finally taking on the thrills and spills of the Water Park slides!

1. Physical Fitness: BJJ provides an excellent full-body workout that improves strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness. It helps young people stay active and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
2. Self-Defense Skills: BJJ teaches practical self-defense techniques that can boost confidence and help young individuals protect themselves in real-life situations.
3. Discipline: Grappling sports require discipline and regular practice, which can instill important life skills like time management and dedication.

EVENING STUDY BEGINS ON MONDAY NEXT,11th, @ 4.10 PM , AND IS AVAILABLE FREE TO ALL YEAR GROUPS

Sixth Year Biology students completed a habitat study of the diverse plant and animal life in Castlecomer woodland ecosystem using a selection of sampling techniques and methods.

Our 2nd Year French class were delighted to receive letters from their penpals in  collège Victoire Daubié in France this morning.

Céad míle fáilte. First years started in Nenagh College today. A new chapter in their lives begins.

Well done to Ryan Gratton, Brehon O’ Donnell, Kedagh Broderick and Cillian Healy who all represented Munster U17s in a friendly Vs US Touring side EIRA Rugby in Fethard Town Park yesterday. Well done boys and hopefully it’s the first of many @Munsterrugby appearances.
