Newport College is proud to announce that two of their 5th year students have been shortlisted at the Griffith College Enterprise competition for their Mathsopoly game. They will be 1 of 10 businesses nationally taking part. As part of the competition, 20% goes for marketing their business. Congratulations to Amal Johnson 5th Year Art Student who represented Nenagh College in Clonmel Museum on March 6th. ARTiculation encourages presentation techniques on a chosen subject. The passionate competent delivery from Amal was exceptional.
Carravaggios ‘Taking of Christ’ was the subject of Amals presentation where he was awarded 3rd place. Thank you to Julia Walsh Dronin, Ms Beirne Art Teacher, English teachers Ms D Mc Kenna and Ms R. Slattery for their support in this project a first for Nenagh College.
Congratulations to our 5th year Art Student who came 3rd in the ARTiculation Tipperary Competition organised by Clonmel Museum.
Amal Johnson delivered a passionate, speech on the 16th Century Caravaggio painting ‘Taking of Christ’ and was awarded third place.
We are very proud of this achievement as it is our first time participating in this Project.
