Bunratty Castle

Students from Home room 1 and 2 had a great day out Tuesday when they visited Bunratty Castle and folk park. The farm manager kindly gave us a tour of the farm first where we met goats, chickens, geese, calves,pigs, ponies, lambs and even deer! A guided tour of the Castle followed and then we explored the folk park. It was a lovely day and we almost managed to sneak a baby lamb back onto the bus !’

Volleyball Team

Nenagh College’s Volleyball Team attended Volleyball Ireland Junior Championships in University of Limerick on Monday 8 May 2023. The standard of the competition was fierce, with Portlaoise College and Castleknock Community College winning the boys and girls competition, respectively. Nenagh College hopes to take part in the next season.

Class Debate

Fifth Year higher level English students recently took part in a class debate. Well done to finalists Dylan, Siobhan and Laura who successfully argued for the motion, “Technology should replace teacher s”.

                                             

 

Mint-Tek Visit

Míle buíochas to Siobhán Ní Chofaigh from Mint-Tek who visited the VexRobotics group. She enjoyed their presentation and gave a generous donation. Go raibh maith agat!

Camogie U16 County Semi-final

Charlotte Ryan & Grace Quinn, 2nd year who play for Silvermines won a camogie U16 County Semi-final A League against Moycarky last Friday and went on to play Boherlahan in the County Final on Thursday evening and won, with a score of 2 : 6 to 7 points, well done girls.
