Fundraising Event in Nenagh College
Ms Naughton presented a cheque for 800 euro to Alan Moran in second year, raised through a fundraiser by students and teachers to support a local go fund me campaign to help his younger brother who is undergoing treatment for cancer.

5LCA Mini Company
5LCA completed their enterprise module as part of Vocational Preparation and Guidance (VPG).
Students undertook a study of entrepreneurs in Ireland and then they came up with their own ideas to become budding entrepreneurs – they narrowed their choice down to a car wash and a pop up lunch time shop.
Their teacher Ms O Keeffe is vey proud of all their hard work and the learning gained from their involvement in enterprise education.
Sustainable Development Goals – Take 1
Ms O Keeffe’s students undertook a study of the cotton industry in the world and the effects it has on many of the 17 SDG’s as follows:
- Gender inequality
- Poverty
- Affordable and clean energy
- Decent work and economic growth
- Reduced inequalities
- Responsible consumption and production
- Sustainable cities and communities
- Climate action
- Partnership for the goals.
Students gained an appreciation of how they can make a difference.
